On July 10th, we cordially invite you to our action day focusing on inclusion and accessibility. You can expect exciting presentations, workshops, and opportunities for exchange – all about inclusion in studies, teaching, and everyday life.
Whether you are studying or teaching – this day offers you inspiration, exchange and above all concrete insights into inclusive learning and teaching.

Our goal?
We want to show you what's already possible at the University of Kassel and how you can contribute to greater accessibility yourself. In addition to exciting lectures, there will be information booths, interactive stations, and plenty of hands-on activities.
Hands-on area: Experience & Try it out
In the indoor and outdoor areas of the campus you can:
- Testing assistive devices and barrier simulators
- Get in touch with experts
For teachers
In presentations specifically tailored to you, you will receive:
- Insights into best practices of accessible teaching
- Information on neurodiversity
- Contact persons & materials to support the removal of barriers in your teaching
For students
Whether you have a disability or not – we want to talk to you! You can expect:
- Information booths from self-help groups and advocacy groups from Kassel
- Tips on studying, mental health, sleep & everyday life
- Interactive opportunities & space for your questions
