Welcome to the innovative and future-oriented fields of study at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. From technology and design to financing and implementation
In the field of study "Digitalization & Society," we offer students from all disciplines the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of digitalization. Our interdisciplinary courses provide insights into diverse digital tools and technologies, their applications in various contexts, and the associated ethical and social issues.
The Mobility program offers competency-based learning that addresses current and future societal challenges and needs. These include topics such as climate change, increasing urbanization, and the growing demand for sustainable mobility solutions. Students are encouraged to recognize their own talents, develop creative ideas, and engage in team-based discussions. Interdisciplinary research fosters practice-oriented research.

The Sustainable Development (SD) study program focuses on interdisciplinary and systemic approaches to achieving sustainability. Our students learn to develop sustainable solutions that consider planetary boundaries and the Sustainable Development Goals. We foster key competencies such as systemic thinking, future orientation, values, strategic thinking, interpersonal skills, and integrated problem-solving and implementation.
Our fields of study are more than just traditional courses. We offer an inspiring environment where students can unleash their creativity, collaborate with like-minded individuals, and tackle real-world challenges.
