Educational Canon – Smart Education/Opportunities through Education

Inspired by Humboldt's educational ideal, this project aims to provide all members of the university community with the opportunity to expand their skills and open up "opportunities through education." Through active and reflective engagement with art, culture, and themselves, students in particular will be supported in developing their personalities and, in addition to their subject-specific expertise, further developing their personal, social, and methodological skills. This will enable them to expand their individual cultural and social capital and empower them to participate fully in society.

Our diverse services include planning and conducting events, organizing workshops for students and university staff, and designing impulse units for teaching. We also support student cultural projects that enable a wide range of creative expression. Furthermore, we engage in dialogue with instructors and staff to jointly find ways to integrate general and cultural education into teaching and everyday university life.
