Coaching and advice in the department

Starting your studies can be challenging in many ways. It helps to get advice and support quickly and easily. At the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, the central student advisory service is therefore supplemented by a low-threshold contact point directly at the respective department. This advice and coaching offer is available to all students at the start of their studies and throughout the course of their studies.

If doubts about your studies arise, time management is not yet working, or a difficult personal conflict or life situation is putting a strain on your studies, a helpful conversation can reveal new perspectives and bring relief. Together with the students, the study advisory staff at the department develop individual strategies to develop potential and optimize the study experience. Students can choose between different communication channels and formats. Some prefer personal conversations, others prefer to use online resources and workshops or also value the exchange with student mentors from the same course of study.

Advice and coaching for students takes place not only during the semester, but also during the lecture-free period. The students are often accompanied over several appointments regarding their individual concerns.
