Peer mentoring at the start of your studies – from students for students
For new students, starting their studies often means entering a completely different life. In the first semester there are challenges on both a content-related and a personal, social and organizational level. Our peer mentoring offer is designed to help you enter the new phase of your life with fun – and with less stress.
The first semester students receive support and guidance from students in higher semesters of the same degree program who have already experienced everything and who know what is helpful when starting their studies. The framework for this is provided by group meetings, workshops on study organization, social events and open learning rooms with advice options. In the various departments, the mentoring program is adapted to the respective specialist cultures and is continually evolving - always with the current needs of the students in mind.
