Multi-project management and administration

The Project Management Office for Teaching coordinates, among other things, the sub-projects of Welcome&Stay@THM and serves as an interface between the university management, sub-project managers and the central departments such as the THM Equal Opportunities Office. The Project Management Office (PMO) systematically networks the various projects in the field of studying and teaching. Under the leadership of VP Study and Teaching, the PMO teaching team combines specific competencies that together contribute to improving the organizational and individual skills and abilities in agile project management and using them effectively in the projects.

The various projects are coordinated in parallel, supported and continually aligned with the needs of science and administration. Decision-making bodies are supported by the PMO in strategic development. The PMO teaching supports those involved in project management in the implementation of collaborative and digital project formats. It coordinates and supports resource planning for all teaching projects and helps to ensure that existing competencies are bundled in such a way that the goals of the sub-projects and the overall project can be achieved. In addition, the PMO teaching is the contact person for cross-university communication between the universities as part of the joint projects.
