From I to We!
Issues of equality and awareness of diversity and the right to participate in social and institutional processes are of great importance, not least for the cultural and mediation sector.
The HfG aims to create an optimal atmosphere for the development of forward-looking ideas in respectful cooperation. The relationship between teachers and students is central to this. With the support of the QuiS funding program, students are able to take part in anti-discrimination events during the various study phases. Further education and training courses are also offered for employees – especially teachers.
The position of consultant for awareness raising and anti-discrimination was created to coordinate events and integrate them into the curriculum.
The HfG Anti-Discrimination Office also offers all university members the opportunity to receive confidential advice in cases of discrimination, abuse of power and bullying.
In addition to providing advice and the organizational and administrative processing of the measures, the specialist and placement office also serves to sharpen the content and conceptual development of the program.
By funding QuiS21, preventative measures for education and awareness can be created that sustainably counteract discrimination and violence, both within the university and in collaboration with other universities.
