From I to We!
Issues of equality and raising awareness of diversity, as well as the right to participate in social and institutional processes, are of great importance, not least for the cultural and educational sector.
The HfG aims to create an optimal atmosphere for the development of forward-looking ideas through respectful collaboration. The relationship between faculty and students is central to this. With the support of the QuiS funding program, students are able to participate in anti-discrimination events at various stages of their studies. Continuing education and training courses are also offered for staff, particularly faculty.

To coordinate events and integrate them into the curriculum, the position of Awareness and Anti-Discrimination Officer was created.
Furthermore, the anti-discrimination office of the HfG offers all university members the opportunity to receive confidential advice in cases of discrimination, abuse of power and bullying.
In addition to providing advice and handling the organizational and administrative aspects of the measures, the specialist and mediation office also serves to refine the content and develop the concept of the program.
By funding QuiS21, preventive measures for education and awareness can be created, which, both within the university and in cooperation with other universities, sustainably counteract discrimination and violence.
