We live by the triad of "research, education, and practice." Our self-conception is that we uniquely leverage the synergies between these three areas. To this end, we conduct both applied and basic research, extend our education far beyond undergraduate teaching with regular and innovative practice-oriented study programs, and promote the transfer of knowledge into practice and society through a wide range of initiatives.
